An AERMEC type NRL 0700 HP1 heat pump with a thermal capacity of 158kW was installed to heat the outdoor swimming pool in Rafina. The heat pump is intended exclusively to cover the thermal needs of the swimming pool with the possibility of a maximum water supply temperature of 50°C. It includes an integrated cold storage and the heating of the pool is done through an stainless steel plate exchanger.
