VARIOTHERM's VarioComp dry floor system is a complete heating system that guarantees optimal heat transfer. The main features of the system are its particularly low thickness, just 20mm and its weight, which does not exceed 25 Kg/m²!
The VarioComp floor heating system is suitable for renovations of old buildings, where low height, weight without the use of cement mortar and short implementation time are of decisive importance.

VarioComp – Low Profile Drywall Underfloor Heating

The VarioComp dry floor system is a complete heating system that guarantees optimal heat transfer. The VarioProfile 11.6 x 1.5 Laser multilayer pipe combined with the special Filling Compound T7 coating material, obtains a perfect fit with the 18mm thick knotted fiberboard. This feature allows for more direct heat transfer with higher efficiency than conventional floor heating systems. The end result is perfect comfort and energy saving conditions. 

Due to its particularly low weight, high efficiency and quick installation, VarioComp is the perfect underfloor heating system for renovations of old buildings.

Safe and easy installation 

The system is implemented in three steps:
• Installation of knotted FERMACELL® fiberboards tested to safety and hygiene standards by the IBR (Institute for Healthy and Ecological Building, Rosenheim)
Free placement of the VarioProfile 11.6 x 1.5 Laser multilayer tube in either a “meander” or “snail” arrangement
Next, the certified Filling Compound T7 covering material is laid over the entire surface
The final coating can be safely placed on the homogeneous substrate even 24 hours after application!
